Decided to do a quick knockout using my quick play MicroBattle rules.
This time, The British invade Napoleon's empire. Napoleon rushes back from consolidating his gains in Germany. He meets Wellington at a little town of Le Lamentin.
Opening positions. Artillery is stationed in the town.
The French light infantry drive away the British rifles in the woods. The British gain the upper hand in the center.
And they drive away the French infantry. But then the British run into the French guard.
Meanwhile, 2 corps of British infantry assault the town. The Imperial Guard defeats a British corps. And disaster strikes! A French bullet strikes down Wellington!
Repulsed from the town, the remaining infantry try to tackle the Guard.
But they fail.
Vive L'Empereur!
Aftermath
The disaster forces the British to capitulate to Napoleon.
Now our map of Europe looks like this.
We are now ready for an epic showdown between the Turks and the French!
Speaking as an Englishman I would argue that Napoleon would have had a busy time trying to take the British isles (which would, of course, mean that mainland Europe, deprived of the forces sent to occupy Britain, would be at considerable risk from the Sultan’s armies).

Agreed. But this is just a simple campaign so I could use all my armies. Not trying to be historically accurate. ; )
DeleteOne could day the defeat and loss of England's only army causes a change in government and forces Britain to sue for peace on terms very favorable to Napoleon.
